This role would be part of Small Business Lending, a new business segment that we have launched at CredAble. We are looking for individuals between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in new client acquisition of MSME or small businesses. The ticket size will range between 5L to 50L and will be a revolving short term facility which is unsecured. Sourcing to be done through DSAs and open market.

What will you bring to the table?

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Unsecured Business Loans/Working capital/Supply Chain Finance ticket size ranging between 5L to 1 crore.
  • Client acquisition/Business Development experience.
  • Sourcing experience through DSAs and open market.

The educational qualification you’ll need:

MBA from Tier1/Tier 2 or any other reputed institutes.

We are looking at entrepreneurial and dynamic people to build and manage our start-up lending
(Emerging Corporates) business.
 
He/she will build and preserve trusting relationships with our clients (Series A and above tech startups) to achieve sales targets and farm existing clients. He/she will also be responsible to cross sell
technology products in the Emerging Corporates space for CredAble.

You will be responsible for:

  • Underwriting function for Credable’s lending business
  • Responsible for evaluating credit risk, preparing credit application notes, and presenting to Credit Committee.
  • Contributing to the development of the Credit risk framework – risk process and policy, product development, portfolio management, and portfolio monitoring.
  • Contributing to the scale-up of Credable’s risk management and underwriting capabilities, to meet the needs of rapidly growing AUM.
  • Liaising with senior management on risk, product, and portfolio strategy
  • Experience in credit underwriting, preferably SME / SCF.

You will be reporting to:

This position will report directly to the VP of Credit.

What will you bring to the table?

  • 5+ years of experience in Underwriting for wholesale lending , Preferably working in Banks or NBFC.
  • Ability to crunch data, analyze and present findings from financial statements & data sets.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Power point along with the ability to present it to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Structured and ability to think on his/her feet

What does our Sales team do?

Will be responsible for market scanning, new client acquisition, revenue growth as well as existing clients’ retention and relationship.

You will be responsible for:

  • The individual will drive key partnerships for MSME Lending.
  • Take responsibility for enhancing business from partners in the MSME domain including NBFCs/digital DSAs.
  • Responsible for driving key partnerships with for MSME Business Lending, by improving funnel, build growth strategy and improve conversion efficiency.
  • Develop and implement acquisition strategies to create demand, identify diverse lead generation sources, outbound and inbound campaign development etc.
  • Review the market landscape, identify partners, review business model of potential partners to bring relevant partnerships.
  • Identify and partner with brands, to drive lending partnership in their value chain.
  • PnL ownership for the strategic partnerships and brand alliances for lending book.
